Welcome to my page. Currently I teach 6th and 8th grade Computer and Financial Literacy as well as 6th grade Keyboarding. I have been teaching here in the Washington Township school district since graduating from Rowan University in 2005. I began teaching at the high school and then moved to middle school in 2008. I enjoy working with each and every one of my students and creating impressions that will last a lifetime.
Below are basic course overviews, resources, videos and activities, and a link to my Moodle page. Moodle is where a marjority of student assignments for the Computer and Financial Literacy class are submitted for grading when finished. Students can check Moodle to see what assignments have been handed in and which ones are still missing. Keyboarding students use the website edutyping.com
to complete their work.
If students need extra time to finish an assignment for Computer and Financial Literacy they can work during a study hall or after school in Computer Club or Prep Club. Occasionally we will have a "Fix and Finish" day but I encourage students to find time as soon as possible to complete any missing work. Keboarding students may access their work at home. Parents/Guardians are encouraged to monitor students as they keyboarding. Be sure to remind your child to practice proper technique including keeping their fingers on the homerow and sitting up straight.
I am always available to provide help if needed. If you need to reach me for any reason my preferred method of contact would be email at email@example.com
