Instructional Media Center (IMC) Services for Students

• Students may come to the IMC at any time for research, to borrow a book, or look at a magazine. Your classroom teacher's permission is required and a pass is needed. Students must sign their first and last names on the sign-in sheet at the entrance to the IMC.
• The IMC is open after school from 2:50 to 3:55 on Monday to Thursday. Students who wish to use the IMC after school must get permission beforehand from their teacher and parent. Students must obtain a pass from a teacher to enter the IMC after school. A bus pass will be provided for students who need to take the late bus home.
• Students may check out two books at a time for a two-week period. At the end of this two-week period, books must be returned or renewed. Magazines may be borrowed for one week. Students are responsible for all materials they borrow. Report cards are held in the Guidance Office if overdue materials have not been returned.
• An extensive reference collection is available for students to use in the IMC.
• A copy machine is available for student use @ 10 cents per page. The machine will accept nickels, dimes and quarters. Change for dollars is not provided in the IMC.
• The IMC has 12 Dell computers for student use. Microsoft Office programs are available on all computers.
