First Grade Supply List  

·      1 hardcover marble composition book with 100 pages

·      pencil box

·      crayons ( no larger than a box of 24)          

·      scissors

·      2 large size glue sticks

·      2 dry erase markers ( for white board use)

·      1 two-pocket folder

·      lunch money in envelope with pin #

·      book bag

·      lunch money in envelope with pin #

Second Grade Supplies

The Washington Township Board of Education provides basic supplies for successful participation in all school activities. However, parents have requested guidelines for additional supplies, which may be helpful in preparing their child for the school year. The following supplies are recommended for second grade.

·     plastic pencil box

·       extra #2 pencils (please send 2-3 pencils each month)

·       5 black and white composition books (hard cover 100 count)

·       Pack of 4 dry-erase low odor markers (for white board use)

·      4 lg. sized glue sticks ( 1 for each marking period)

·     Crayons-please no larger than a box of 24

·       2 large bottles of school glue

·       2 packs of 2 x 1.5 "Post-It Notes"

·       1 two-pocket folder

·       1 enclosed pencil sharpener

Third Grade Supplies

The school provides students with necessary supplies.  However, the following is a list of additional suggestions which may be helpful for your child to have for some projects and assignments.

  • 3 single subject notebooks, spiral or marble
  • One 1 1/2" clear view binder (clear pocket on front)
    Larger binders will not fit in the desks.  Please no Trapper Keepers!
  • 1 pen ( any color)
  • Highlighter
  • Glue sticks, scissors, and crayons (no larger than a 16 pack)
  • Soft zippered pencil case (pencil boxes will not fit in the desks)
  • Extra pencils for home and school
  • Dry erase markers (must be low odor)
  • Cotton sock for erasing dry erase markers
  • 1 small book sock
  • 3 x 3 Post-It Notes

Fourth Grade Supplies

The school provides students with necessary supplies.  However, the following is a list of additional suggestions which may be helpful for your child to have for some projects and assignments. 

    • 1 inch binder
    • 1 marble notebook
    • 5 folders
    • 2 single subject spiral notebooks*
    • 2 red pens*
    • highlighter*

    • cotton sock for erasing dry erase boards*
    • 2 extra large book socks

Once your child’s placement is posted in September, please refer to your child’s teacher for additional supplies.

  • 4 tennis balls (more if available)

*Items marked in generic 4th grade list above are not needed.

Large binders and trapper keepers are not easily stored in the fourth grade classroom, so please avoid purchasing them.

Fifth Grade Supplies

Basic Supplies for successful participation in all school activities are provided by the Washington Township Board of Education; however, parents have requested guidelines for additional supplies which may be helpful in preparing their child for the school year.  The following includes these recommendations, but are not required materials:

                *  Zippered pencil case - Essential for organization when
                                switching classes
                *  6 Spiral notebooks - (Single subjects 70 pages  wide-ruled)
                *  Colored markers
                *  Colored pencils - (For map skills and science diagrams)
                *  Dry erase markers - low  odor (For Math)
                *  Dry eraser (For Math)
                *  Glue sticks 
                *  Crayons            
                *  Scissors - (Not long pointed shears)               
                *  Pens  (Any color)
                *  Many extra pencils  and small pencil sharpener
                *  15-20 plastic sheet protectors
                *  Yellow  Highlighters
                *  Post-Its (Not the small ones)
    *  2 Marble bound notebooks (One used for World Language and one used for Literacy)
    *  5 Pocket Folders (Extras may be needed for replacements)
 
(Please label as many of the above items as possible using a permanent marker.)
 
We understand that all of these supplies cost you money.  Please try to keep your eyes open for sales starting the end of July.
 
No Trapper Keepers or Binders (There is no room in the classroom/desks.)    Thanks for understanding!
