University Behavioral HealthCare is an integrated service delivery system of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ). Its clinical, consultation, education, training and research functions are organized into one unified system. Founded by the State Legislature in 1970, UMDNJ is a statewide network of academic health centers, comprised of eight schools on five campuses, enrolling over 4,500 students. It is the largest university of health sciences in the nation.
The UBHC EAP has been providing Employee Assistance services for the past twenty years. Originally a staff model program-serving employees of the University-- it expanded to serve the broader community. Today, it serves municipalities, school districts, hospitals and private corporations throughout the State of New Jersey and beyond. Backed by the substantial resources of UMDNJ, the EAP is able to deliver to you and your employees high quality, custom service. It is comprised of both salaried staff clinicians as well as contracted affiliates.
