WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP – Bells Elementary School students in the ELEMEnTS (Elementary Learners Engaged in Mathematics, Engineering new Technologies and Science) program recently completed a project on energy sources that required them to create a Power Point Presentation on the different ways that we create energy in the United States.
Once those were complete, they had a chance to learn even more when Exelon Energy Vice President for Operations Support Vicky Will visited the classroom on Thursday, April 6, 2017. Will, who is Bells fourth-grader Jonah Avis’ aunt, works primarily with renewable energy such as solar, hydro, nuclear and wind power, and she brought plenty of materials that discussed the importance of those energy producers.
The Bells students had plenty of questions for Will, and they were eager to show her their Power Points at the end of her presentation.
