WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP – Professional animator and Washington Township High School alumnus David McBride came to Thomas Jefferson Elementary School recently, where he read his new children’s book Kazumi Racecar Pig to the student body.
McBride graduated from WTHS in 2004 before studying animation at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia and the Academy of Art at the University of San Francisco. He now runs the David McBride Animation Studio, where he makes films and writes books. In addition to Kazumi Racecar Pig, McBride has published Dimitri Has His Head in the Clouds.
