WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP – Bunker Hill Middle School staff and students helped honor World Down Syndrome Day on Tuesday, March 21, 2017, by wearing their craziest socks. March 21st was chosen as World Down Syndrome Day to signify the triplication or trisomy of the 21st chromosome that causes Down Syndrome. People all over the world are participating in various events in order to raise awareness.
