Bells Elementary School Students Take First Place at Princeton Day School Chess Tournament
WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP – Bells Elementary School’s chess team continued its strong tradition at the Princeton Day School Chess Tournament. Bells sent seven students to the event on Saturday, January 7, 2017, and returned with the first-place trophy in the Novice 1 section.
Bells chess team members included (pictured above, left to right) Ryan Woychiechowski, Kristina Hagerty, Brooke Jones, Billy Hagerty, Jake Metviner, Aiden Zukovsky and Arman Sidhwa. Individual winners included Woychiechowski (second) and Sidhwa (third).
The Bells chess team’s advisor is Mr. James Cho.
