WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP – Washington Township High School Senior Louis Testa successfully auditioned for the 2017 New Jersey Music Educators Association’s (NJMEA) Honors Guitar Ensemble on February 11, 2017.
Testa, under the direction of Washington Township High School guitar teacher Gregory Janicki, was among an elite group of 20 guitarists chosen from high schools throughout the state. Testa was received as an honor-level guitarist and will perform in the NJMEA Honors Guitar Ensemble at The College of New Jersey on Saturday, May 6, 2017, at Noon.
“Louis has done it again, proving that hard work and practice pays off,” Janicki said. “His dedication and talent have opened many opportunities for him. He was also accepted to Rowan University and will continue his studies at the collegiate level. I am very proud of him.”
