WTHS Interact Club to Host 14th Annual "Monzo Madness"
The Washington Township High School Interact Club will be hosting its 14th Annual “Monzo Madness,” a 18-hour Dance-A-Thon to benefit local victims of Lou Gehrig’s disease (ALS). WTHS students, signing up as couples and raising a minimum of $50 to participate, will begin dancing at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, January 13, 2017, in the gymnasium of the school’s 11-12 wing. The event will continue until 8 a.m. on Saturday, January 14th.
Over 300 students have already pre-registered for the event and have already raised over $18,000 for ALS research. A donation will be made to the National ALS Foundation, bringing WTHS’s donation total to over $248,000 since the fundraiser’s inception.
