WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP – Grenloch Terrace Early Childhood Center kindergarten students in Mrs. Angela Otto’s class have been ratcheting up their technology skills, as well as their efforts toward promoting kindness.
The students took part in Digital Learning Day on February 23rd, working on their mouse skills in computer class with Mrs. Anita DeAngelis. They also learned about word processing and how to take a picture they have drawn and developing a Microsoft Word document around it.
In addition, Mrs. Otto’s class participated in the 100 Acts of Kindness Challenge 2017. From Martin Luther King Jr. Day (January 20th) to Valentine's Day (February 14th) the students worked to perform more than 175 acts of kindness. Their class motto was “Let Kindness Fall Like Snowflakes.” They learned that one snowflake is unique and beautiful, but as more and more fall, the world around us is transformed. Acts of kindness are like that, too.
