WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP – Three Washington Township High School students recently were named the winners of the Pat’s Select Art Contest, with senior Rachael Miller’s design picked to adorn 10,000 pizza boxes used at the restaurant’s location at 389 Ganttown Road in Sewell.
Students in art classes at WTHS were asked to submit their entries to Pat’s Select. Miller’s design took first-place honors, which comes with a $300 cash scholarship. Fellow seniors Zach Yula (second place, $125) and Daninne Sargent (third place, $75) also were recognized. In addition, the Washington Township Art Department received a check from Pat’s Select for $1,500 in honor of the students’ work.
Pat’s Select representative Michelle Karadonis was on hand at WTHS on Monday, May 22nd, to present the checks to the winners. Miller’s design is expected to appear on the pizza boxes in the coming weeks.
