WTHS's 4th Annual Black History Month Dinner Theater Plays to Sold Out Audience
Advisers Eisa Jackson and Adjua Lafleur and members of the Washington Township High School African American Culture Club celebrated African American culture with a sold out audience at the school’s 4th Annual Black History Month Dinner Theater on February 23rd. The evening featured a keynote address by Mrs. Jacqueline Hall-Smith who spoke about her travels to Africa and the importance of knowing African history, The evening included dinner followed by dancing, singing, poetry, speeches and music as the event celebrates the international influence of Black people.
