Career Quizzes - there are four career quizzes - abilities, data, people and things, work preferences and work values - these are designed as a starting point where you can begin your career exploration
Life Colors Online - this assessment asks the questions what kind of person are you and what makes you tick.  The quiz takes about five minutes.
Self Assessment via MazeMaster - includes three exercises to help you identify your interests, values and skills. Click on English, then Self Assessment; the user name and password are imc. Scroll to the bottom of the page to take the Interests, Skills or Values tests.
Medical Career Finder - take a short test to help you determine the medical career that is right for you
Entrepreneurship Test - this site provides a test to evaluate your skills as a business owner; it also includes information on everything about starting a company including factors of success and failure, raising capital, business plans, financing a company. This is a one-stop site for information on entrepreneurship
Princeton Review Career Quiz - this is a quiz has 24 questions and will help you determine your interests and work style
Keirsey Temperament Sorter   An online personality test which analyzes responses and provides a personality profile.
The Career Key - This inventory is based on the Holland personality types. After taking this, you will get a sense of what Holland personality types most closely represent you and a list of occupations that match each personality type.

Career Handbooks  -- Career planning guides which provide information for planning a career, identifying qualifications, education and training, salary and work environment.

Department of Labor's Occupational Handbook - the Handbook describes what workers do on the job,
working conditions, the training and education needed, earnings, and expected job prospects in a wide range of occupation

Princeton Review Career Search - you will have to complete a registration form, but it profiles over 200 careers; it also includes information on resume writing, interviews, and cover letters
Guides for Specific Careers - this is very useful for locating those hard to find careers
Job Profiles - This has information on the hard-to-find careers; workers share their experience including rewards of their job; stressful part of the job; basic skills the job demands, challengers of the future and advice on entering the field
Career Biographies - includes information on careers plus narratives written by a person in that career
